All Key
Stage 1 children usually take part in the same activity. The activity in the past has often had one day based in school and one out of
school, although both days may have been in school. Activities have included: Queens Wood, Llandrindod Wells, Safari Park, Teddy Bears' Picnic and Pirates, as well
as visits by puppeteers, musicians, clowns etc.
Key Stage 1 now has a week of
activities based around a theme that covers all areas of the curriculum,
with many special treats.

Key
Stage 2 children have more choice. There
are usually 3 or 4 diverse activities to choose from (although camping is not
an option for the younger children) and places are allocated largely on a
‘first come, first served’ basis. As with Key Stage 1, activities usually involve one school based
day and one ‘trip’ day. Past activities have included: Cooking, with trips to a Snail Farm
and Cadbury's World (Chocolate!), Games Galore,
Warwick Castle, Woodwork,
Camping, Puppet Making, Cotswold Wild Life Park,
Blists Hill, Falconry
Centre, Sea Life
Centre, a visit to the seaside, Gloucester Docks, Butterfly Farm, Chester Zoo and Kite Making
